02.07.2023 - Back on the road again

I left a little late, around 10:00, this morning. The traffic was, for a Sunday, quite heavy but no traffic jams which is good.
The drive was uneventful and Germany took longer then I remembered. As soon as I was in Denmark the traffic got less, except around large cities.
It's just nicer a calmer to drive in Scandinavia in general. Drivers even wait for you to pull out if you caught behind a slower vehicle.

The weather was rather British - wind, rain and sunshine kept fighting for the first place today. I actually liked it because it makes great light for photography.

What surprised me were the customs control to enter Denmark and Sweden. I don't remember that from the last time.
When I took the ferry from Sassnitz to Ystad there were no controls whatsoever.
Well, things change I guess.

After a long day of driving, I found a great car park in a wooden area not far from Mølle, and it's got a toilet as well. Yay!

Some young Danish guys are staying in the shelter which is also located at this car park. Why don’t we have such things in Germany? We have car parks but not with a shelter you can stay in for free.

The next two days I'll be heading towards Kapellskär (ferry port to Finland).
