07.06.2023 - Good bye Highlands

After a good night, I headed towards the Galloway Forest Park. It was so nice to drive through a wooden area for a change, especially as I prefer pine trees to others.

It was a small winding road through the park and I only saw two other vehicles in over an hour. Just Gorgeous!

I'm not quite out of Scotland but the scenery it very different now and reminds me more of the soft green hills from Wales.

Most of the driving was nice and the sun made up for her absents in the last two days. Even the roads around Glasgow were not as busy as I expected.

I also noticed the lack of holiday makers with camper-vans on the road. Glorious!

The only negative thing I encountered was the driver of a large tractor (man sized wheels), he was swerving from left to right and when I drove past him he almost hit me. Even when I horned at him he didn't react. Of course was the stupid fucker on his phone!
I hate people who are playing so carelessly with other peoples lives!!!
How did a friend used to say: "May the flies of a thousand camels infest your left armpit."

Anyway, I found a wee spot to park just off a single track road and tomorrow I should drive through the beautiful Lake District.
What more could I ask for?
