Finally, I found one

Yes, yes, yes, I found a car. A black (not the best color for cars) Ford Grand Tourneo Connect is going to be my travel companion.

I had to pay more than I wanted but the used car market just shit at the moment and the prices are high to very high.

That's btw. the story of my life, I always end up paying more or getting less when I sell something. This used to really annoy me but since I can't change it, I had to accept it.

But what the hell, I finally have this huge problem out of my head!

All I need now is to take out the seats and start putting all the stuff, that's currently living in my bedroom, into the car. Well, after I picked it up on the 11th of May.

After some more thinking about the sleeping situation I decided not to buy a modular box for storage and sleeping but a 3 way folding mattress instead. It's cheaper and after I come back it can live in my living room as another seating option.

The other good thing about is that I can fold into a seat and use it as a tiny sofa in the car when I want to write, edit pictures, read, etc.

For storage I've got now two 55l and two 32l boxes with lids, which is more than enough for all my stuff. I do however still need to figure out how to secure it in the car. There are several tie down points but I'm not sure if they're enough.

All I need now is to get a small table and a chair and I'm set for my trip.

It feels kind of good having not much else to do...
