Not a good start, but a great end

In short? Last night was shit.
I awoke several times because I was too hot and couldn't seem to get comfortable. Basically my sleeping bag is too warm for 6 degrees in a car. Or I'm just too hot ROFL

The lag of sleep stayed with me all day and I just couldn't stop yawning. Especially in the beginning of day was it more present then later.

Unfortunately, it was quite cloudy and partly foggy when I finally got up around 06:30. The midges, those little buggers, were already quite active and so I quickly packed and drove away. This is gonna be a real problem in Scandinavia!

The first part of the way was similar to yesterday and quite nice. Towards the end, I think around Dingwall, the scenery changed so drastically that I thought I was back in Germany. The small tracks I drove on went through lush wooden areas, mainly made up of pine trees. It reminded me of my hometown.

The closer I got to the Isle of Skye the busier and the bigger the roads got.

On the road to Skye I revisited an old friend and got a little melancholic and left with a tear in my eye.
It was very nice to see him!

I ended up in a large spot where I'm so far on my own. I'll keep my fingers crossed ,if I could actually do that, that it stays that way!
Very close by runs a stream and so I decided not only washed myself is this lovely fresh and clean water but also some of my cloth.
It's of course not really good but it'll be fine until I visit my friend in Cardiff.

Must not forget, I found the Black Pearl, though it looks different from what I remember. But psst, don't tell Jack, he might wants her back.
