04.07.2023 - Britain in Sweden!?

After an okay night, I seemed to be waking up, I headed towards Stockholm again.
My plan to take some sunrise pictures were thwarted by the weather. It rained quite heavily for the first hour of my drive.
Is there maybe a satellite controlled weather front that follows me around!? Buhu

However the drive was nice but also quite straining because there were not many places to stop. There are little car parks by the roadside but I find it hard to relax if my car gets shaken because of the wind suction created by the passing cars and lorries.

But the weather is not the only thing that keeps changing, the scenery does too. I started in a flat wooded area, which was replaced by a more rocky and hilly scenery throughout the day. Very nice views!
So not only the weather but also the scenery today reminded me of Britain.

I stopped early again to day because I felt suddenly quite tired. Luckily I found a great space that is a good 20 meters away from the small road I was travelling on.

After a little sleep I feel refreshed and could carry on but this spot is so nice that I just don't want to leave.

It's such a great luxury to stop and sleep for an hour when ever you feel like it.

My plan for tomorrow to get a ferry to Finland is not going to work. All affordable crossings are sold out and so I decided to take the long way round and drive to Finland.
This way I see more of Sweden and a little less of Finland but that is okay.

I also reconfigured my route through Norway and back home, so I don't need any ferries. Just incase...
