10.07.2023 - The trip comes to an early end

I just spoke with a Carglass guy and he told me it would take two weeks to replace my windscreen. That is just a little too long.

So, I made the decision to go back to Germany and get it fixed there. The crack hasn't gotten any bigger in the last two days but it's too risky to carry on for another four weeks.

I feel very sad at this moment but I believe it's the right decision. Hopefully the crack won't get any bigger and no police or custom person will end my drive early!

The fastest route is about 2500km long and should take me about three days.

But since I still have several weeks of holidays left, I'll make some other plans.
Well, depending how long Carglass Hannover will take for the replacement...
