EasterTET - Part two

On Friday the 29.03.2024 my friend and I left for Poland. We had met at a petrol station and around 11:30 we took off.
The first part of the ride was on the A2 Motorway towards Berlin, but shortly before Magdeburg we went onto quieter and nicer B-roads.
The closer we got to Poland, the better the weather became. The downside to this was that it took us longer to get to Żagań, where we wanted to stop for the night.

Usually I would have taken my camping gear to be more independent, but we had decided to leave that stuff at home.
We finally reached our hotel around 19:30, when the temperature had dropped and the sun had disappeared. I should mention that I'm not a big fan of riding in the dark, especially with a motorbike.

The next morning we started on the TET which passes through Żagań. Not long after we hit the TET the first off-road section was presented to us - mud.

As the day went along, we both got quite comfortable with the ever-changing road conditions. The Section 3 consists mainly of mud, deep sand and some wood paths. Which are mainly covered with potholes, a lot of potholes, and not the small kind.
Around 14:00 I fell and hurt myself, which prevented me from carrying on the next day. I was a little too fast and because I was a little tired at that point, my concentration wasn't good enough for the speed I was doing. Shit happens!

Unfortunately, I hurt my left arm and chest muscle. It was nothing severe, but too painful to carry on riding off-road. On a bigger trip I would have taken a day's rest and then carried on, but since we only had one day left, doing this wasn't an option.

In the evening, while having some nice food, we decided to ride back the next day. This way we could ride back in good weather and had a day more rest before going back to work.
But we also want to come back to Poland and ride more of the TET!

The ride back was uneventful and after a 'short' 5-hour trip on the boring motorway, I was home again.

For some reason, we didn't take many pictures, but here are a couple...
